I was surprised to see Todd posting his home videos all over the internet…

What is everyone’s favorite moment?
I’m going with late at the end of the night when Mike and Ashley were preparing to leave, and Ashley’s sister came over to me and Zurn and said, “Are you drinking, are you drunk, can you pull the car around?”
And Zurn replied, “The answer to all of those questions is yes.”

Normally, I would cheer for Tech when these two meet, but wouldn’t be real upset if Notre Dame won. This time, however, I went to the game clearly wanting Notre Dame to whip Chan’s ass. Even though Braine is gone and Nix is the new offensive coordinator, I still can’t support a Chan-misled team.
I asked Dave for the ticket last Spring and let him know early on that I would be cheering for Notre Dame, but wouldn’t be obnoxious about it.
Once I got to the game, I found that it was too hard for me to cheer against Tech, despite how much I detested Gay-Lee. I started to find myself being won over by Tech’s play in the 1st half and the playcalling of Nix. They were really mixing things up and getting the ball to Calvin Johnson. So, by half time, inwardly I was cheering for both teams and was just hoping for a great finish.
The 2nd half, however, was a different story. Even though he denies it, Chan took the headset and began calling plays himself. Even if he wasn’t directly doing so, I guarantee you he told Nix what to do during halftime. Tech looked like the same old shitbag squad from a year ago, with bad playcalling and terrible execution on offense- the hallmarks of a Chantastic team. Only two catches for Calvin in the 2nd half, even though ND had not shown any ability to stop him whatsoever.
I was also getting pissed at Notre Dame because they were getting every fucking major call in their favor. The helmet-to-helmet call protecting Brady was shit. I hate it when referees change games and that’s exactly what they did. Overall, that team did not look like the #2 team in the country; the only reason they won is because Chan pulled the Barney Fife and shot Tech in the foot.
So, even though the team that I initially wanted to win did indeed win, the game left a bad feeling in my gut. Notre Dame was gifted the game through biased refereeing and Chan’s takeover and Tech showed that they are going to be pulling the same routine that has become commonplace since Jesus Freak arrived on the Flats.

I’ve been reading this book by Chuck Klosterman that has a few rhetorical questions sprinkled throughout, and I thought it would be fun to ask some of those questions here….
1) You are in a plane crash in the Andes Mountains, not unlike those people from the movie Alive. As such, you will be forced to consume the human flesh of the people who died on impact; this will be a terrible experience but it is the only way for you to survive. Fortunately, you did not know any of the victims personally.
Would you rather eat a dead baby, or would you rather eat a dead elderly person? Would you gender play a role in your selection process? And how much would it bother you if this meat turned out to be delicious?
