Around midnight, I was flipping through the channels, and I came across the Hawks in LA. They were leading the Laker midway through the 4th so I figured I’d see how it would end. Late in the game (~1 min. left), The Hawks have the ball up 2. Kobe gets a steal he pushes it up to Smush who goes up for the dunk, but J-Smooth just gets a piece of it from behind causing smush to miss. Kobe gets the rebound, but falls flat on his face turning the ball over to the Hawks…no call. The replay showed Kobe wasn’t touched, but I’m still amazed Kobe didn’t get the call in LA. The Hawks held on to get the road win, but it didn’t matter at that point. Nothing can beat seeing Kobe on the floor not getting the call.

Nice recap, Steve. I fell asleep before it was over, but it’s nice to hear that the Hawks pulled out another victory.
It must be especially nice for you after seeing the GT second half collapse against UNC last night.
Thanks for rubbing that in a$$hole. Anyway, I’ve become numb to GT’s 2nd half collapses this season. FU mike (the lowercase ‘m’ is not a typo). .l.
Are we starting to see some consistency in the Hawks?
Also, I read that the Hawks might pull a sign-and-trade this Summer with Al instead of trading him before the Feb. 23rd deadline.
Hey fellas. I’m at the airport in Long Beach right now, waiting for a flight. Just wanted to chime in and note that I was the game in LA last night, sitting in the stands about 10 rows back from the court. The Lakers were disasterous on the boards — I think the Hawks out-rebounded them 42-25 or something like that. Josh Smith had the best game I’ve seen him play all season — finished with 21 points and 15 rebounds.
The only bad part of the game was when the Lakers put in Ronny Turiaf, who they drafted last year but has been out after having heart surgery. Anyway, Turiaf came in and almost immediately got a breakaway lay-up. Zaza was chasing him down from behind, and I stood and yelled, “Take him out!” Of course, I didn’t really think about Turiaf possibly having a weak ticker. Zaza crushed him, got a flagrant foul, and there was a lot of booing and angry stares at me.
Anyway, gotta get on board in a minute. Lindsay Davenport is sitting about four seats down from me in the waiting area for this flight. She’s gotta be about 6-3.
Would that qualify as a Floydian slip?
